The City of Eagle Lake is seeking an energetic and organized individual to fill a full-time position of Customer Service Representative to our Utility Department. As a Customer Service Representative you will be the first point of contact for our customers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring their satisfaction by providing timely and professional customer support by responding to customer inquiries over the telephone, in person, and via e-mail for the department. This employee will be responsible for processing daily cash, check, and credit card transactions on customer accounts. 

Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work on several tasks simultaneously, pay attention to detail, and have excellent recordkeeping skills. Candidate must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Applicants must have successfully graduated from a standard high-school or trade-school or possess an acceptable GED certificate; supplemented by a minimum of three (2) years of comparable customer service related work experience in an office environment. 

Must be able to successfully pass a physical, background, and drug screen.
